When I was about 10 years old my father Dennis brought me to the Mamaroneck Relays and threw a stop watch in my hand.  I fell in love with timing that day.  Little did I know how much track and field would be a part of my life.

I ran track and cross country for Somers High School - where I also coached from 2000-2012.  I was lucky enough to have teams win 20 Sectional Championships and the 2004 NYS XC title.  I  also coached over 25 track All-Americans.

I'm now The Director of HS Track & Field, Results, and FAT Timing at The Armory in NYC - where I direct some of the biggest HS meets in the country - including The Jim Mitchell Invitational, The Hall of Fame Invitational, The Marine Corps Classic, The Hispanic Games, and The New Balance Games.  I'm also the Chief Meet Organizer for the NYRR Millrose Games.

As a runner I have completed ten marathons and two ultra marathons - including my 5th place finish at the Vermont 50K in 2010 .  My lifetime marathon PR is an excruciating 3:02.

As a long time supporter of training “off road” - my wife and I moved to Highland, NY in 2012 and finally to our new home on Plains Road in New Paltz in spring 2016.  Our first baby - Mae Virginia - is now 3.5 years old while my 2nd daughter Ruby is one.  I have half a relay.

Timing is in my blood.  My grandfather was the head timer and meet referee at The Loucks Games - among other meets - for well over 20 years.  My father continues to officiate many Section 1 meets and was a timer for the NYC Marathon from 1976 until 2016.  This is not just a career for me - it's my passion.
